Workshop Facilitation
Anne designs and facilitates immersive, day-long workshops that help leaders imagine what is possible, address challenges and opportunities, gain clarity and provide a roadmap for moving forward. These sessions often unlock unexpected synergies between higher education and senior living.
Workshops are especially effective when organizations are:
Exploring a new partnership
Stuck at an impasse
Ready to rethink space, programming, or community
The result is momentum, alignment, and a plan to move forward.
Workshop case study
In a busy university town, a university and a senior living community shared a large parking lot—neighbors with no other formal relationship. The senior housing community had a long waitlist; the university needed space and practical learning opportunities for its health sciences students.
During a day of facilitated brainstorming, leaders from both organizations reimagined the site as a multigenerational community where students and older adults would aspire to live together. They envisioned integrated floors of student and resident housing, hands-on clinical learning, and an admissions process based on interest and intention—not age or lottery.
The result? A practical solution to problems facing both organizations, and a reframing of aging, education, and community.
